Shreya’s story begins in the heart of northern India—growing up across Meerut, Delhi, and the hillside charm of Mussoorie. Her school days were filled with laughter, inside jokes, and pancakes-filled memories with her beloved crew—the 'Allies.' Growing up, she developed a strong sense of ambition, taking her from Mussoorie and IIT Bombay to Wharton in the US. She delights in ordinary activities set in extraordinary places—cooking dal-chawal in a riverside apartment or napping on a beach by the Pacific Ocean! Over the years, she evolved into a woman who could break down business strategy in a boardroom, take on the world in the U.S., and still feel most at home in the embrace of her family back in India.

Mahesh grew up in the historical city of Aurangabad in Maharashtra, always brimming with curiosity and a strong sense of what mattered most. He was the kind of kid who quietly noticed everything, asked thoughtful questions, and always showed up for the people he cared about. Over the years, he’s stayed the same mix of thoughtful and adventurous. He loves road trips with no fixed plan, hiking trails with beautiful views, listening to music and documentaries during quiet evenings, and hunting for the best food spots wherever he goes. From IIT Kanpur to Stanford, and now living in California, he’s built a life full of wonder, friendships, and weekend adventures.

Their story began in the most modern way—through a simple conversation online that quickly grew into something meaningful. What started as lighthearted chats became long conversations filled with laughter, reflections, and little moments that slowly brought them closer. Even with thousands of miles and a few time zones between them—Mahesh in California, Shreya in Philadelphia—they built a rhythm. Mornings started with good-morning texts, afternoons had quick updates or memes, and nights often ended in hours of easy, joyful connection.
Their families recognized this deep connection and brought everyone together in a beautiful, heartwarming engagement. A celebration that blended tradition, joy, and the promise of a shared future.
Now, Shreya and Mahesh are counting down to their big day—June 8, 2024, at the Grand Hyatt in Goa. It’s going to be a celebration full of color, laughter, hugs, music, and meaning. Most importantly, it will mark the beginning of a new chapter in their story—one filled with love, partnership, adventure, and endless laughter!
